Beth Church is your Career and Personal Adviser and she enables students in years 9, 10 and 11 to make a successful transition to the next stage of learning and education.


How your Adviser can help:

Beth provides independent and impartial careers guidance by providing face-to-face interviews and group works to enable you to consider your options and draw up a plan to achieve your careers aspirations.


 Other support you can access from Careers South West:

  • providing assessments for Young People with Learning Difficulty and/or Disability to ensure their successful transition to post 16 education and training opportunities
  • following up young people to ensure they have an offer of learning post 16 and continue to engage in learning and work after that
  • supporting vulnerable young people to engage in education, employment and training.

Careers South West also provides free careers advice for adults. Further details of the services provided by Careers South West, including how to sign up to a monthly newsletter of advice and tips on careers, can be found here or by calling 0800 97 55 111

 Further details of how you can access this service in school can be obtained from Mrs Surrey, your tutor or Head of House.

Careers South West are now offering an online advice service to ALL Westfield students to support the information, advice and guidance offered by Careers and Personal Adviser, Beth Church in school. The ‘Adviser Online’ service is available Monday to Friday, 12noon – 8pm (excluding public holidays).

You will be able to chat with a Careers South West Adviser who can offer information on career routes and subject choices, job searching, college courses, CV writing and more!
