International Dance Day 2022

A global celebration of dance, created by the Dance Committee of the International Theatre Institute (ITI) www.international-dance-day.org/ . The day strives to encourage participation and education in dance through events and festivals held all over the world. “Dance is a wonderful way to bring people together. You don’t need to speak the same language but there can be an understanding through movement. There is an equality between people.“

To celebrate International Dance Day, our fantastic Dance teacher (Miss Gubb) put together a special programme of dance events - including a visit from Huish Primary School pupils who were taught a safari themed dance by our Yr 10 dancers!!

Thank you to everyone who took the time to be part of this inspiring day, from those who came in to run workshops, to the dancers who took part - you all worked incredibly hard.
