Through providing this choice, we can make sure that all students have the opportunity to study subjects that are suited to their own interests and abilities.
Students follow the national curriculum, comprising the subjects of English, Maths, Science, Social Ethics (Religion & Society), Physical Education, Computing, Geography, History, Modern Foreign Languages, Design Technology, Art, Music, Drama, Citizenship and Personal Development.
All students follow GCSE courses in English Language, English Literature, Maths and Science combined.
Students also follow non examination classes in Careers, Physical Education, Citizenship and Philosophy & Ethics.
Students may also currently opt to study subjects from the following list of GCSE or BTEC courses:
- Computer Science
- Design & Technology - Engineering
- Food & Nutrition
- Health & Social Care
- Physical Education
- Triple Science
