Yr 8 South West Junior Chef Finalist

Year 8 student Theo took part in the South West Junior Chef Final at yesterday (14/6/22) at Taunton College.

Theo was the youngest competitor and was extremely nervous prior to the event but he worked incredibly hard throughout to produce an amazing dish. Although he wasn't the overall winner, the judges (including a Michelin star chef) were so impressed with his skills and flavours they specifically requested that he enter again next year as he shows so much promise!!

His dish was Cornish Cod with Fresh Pasta -which included pesto made with South West ingredients and a garlic and herb sourdough crumb!

We are all very very proud of Theo and look forward to seeing where this talent takes him in the future!!
